Conferences are upon us!
At least for us coral researchers! Is there a conference season? Conferences, we have seen, are stressful. Its overwhelming to be in a hotel, conference centre, or resort with all the biggest names and up-n-comers in your field. You are literally on a stage sometimes. Hi, I’m Sanna!
I grew up living super close to the ocean (and still), and I think being near/in the ocean all the time made 'little me' want to understand more about what goes on under the water. During high school, I was always most comfortable with maths (which actually came in super handy when I realised that biology involved a lot of numbers!), but I was most interested in biology, especially the plant and animal parts, and, especially especially, the ocean parts. Welcome to Our Blog
We are four students that have came to our projects via different pathways, and we found that the more we talked to each other, the less we actually knew what was going on. We found that there was not a lot of resources from a student perspective about the bits outside of the science.
